Ben Avon Council Meeting on Tuesday
The next Ben Avon Council Meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 7:00 pm, will be held in person – at the Ben Avon Borough Building – as well as remotely. The meeting agenda can be found here once available.

Ben Avon Bookmobile Stop this Saturday
The Ben Avon Bookmobile will be in front of Anchor and Anvil Coffee Bar this Saturday, September 16 from 9:30 – 10:30 am.
The next stop date will be Saturday, September 30, 2023. Because this will be Fall Festival, the stop location will be moved to Forest and Church Ave, on the 30th only.

PA Rep. Venkat’s Emsworth Office Hours
PA Representative Arvind Venkat’s office hosts satellite office hours the second and fourth Monday of each month from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Emsworth Borough Building, 171 Center Avenue, Emsworth, PA 15202.
Staff is available to provide constituents with a variety of services, including assistance with PennDOT services, Unemployment Compensation, Prescription Assistance Program, unclaimed property in the Pennsylvania Treasury, Property Tax/Rent Rebate, resources for veterans, and so much more.

With due respect, kindly pick up your pet’s waste while on any public or private property that does not belong to you. This means bagging and disposing of waste in your own refuse container. QVCOG Glass Recycling is offered in 2 Locations
Free Drop-Off Glass Recycling is available at the Avalon Borough Public Works 629 New Brighton Road, 15202 & at the Sewickley Borough Riverfront Park 300 Chadwick St, Sewickley, PA 15143.
- Hours of operations are dawn to dusk each day
- Glass containers must be rinsed of any perishable debris prior to being recycled
- Adhesive labels and container lids do not need to be removed from glass prior to being recycled
- Glass products such as mirrors, porcelain dishware, and light bulbs will not be accepted.
