The Ben Avon Volunteer Fire Department has it on good authority that Santa will be in the borough this Saturday evening, December 14th, starting around 5:30pm. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for him!
The week of December 2nd was the final week for curbside leaf collection. Any leaves remaining should now be picked up and disposed of with the weekly trash collection on Wednesdays or composted if you have access. Weather is turning colder and Ben Avon Public Works is now preparing for the winter weather. Thank you for your cooperation.

Ben Avon is looking for a few good residents to serve as volunteers with the Avonworth Municipal Authority – the overseeing authority for the Avonworth Community Park which provides a variety of recreational and social amenities to the five communities within the Avonworth district.
